The pastoral care has been excellent and we have thoroughly appreciated how all the teachers have been responsive and communicative.

What stands out most is how well the teachers know our son as an individual. There's a real awareness of where he is in his development, and whenever we've needed support, it's always been there — we've never felt like we were navigating things alone.

Thomas’s was special to me because it gave me the freedom and confidence to do whatever I wanted to. I played sports at Thomas’s, so I’ve never felt self-conscious about being a part of a team. Getting up on a stage to give a speech now is no less scary than getting up in full costume for a pantomime. I can just about pass myself at karaoke because I had a weekly music lesson. With my friends, it’s a running joke that when I meet someone I always shake their hand. I think this is in part because every morning I had to shake a teacher’s hand and ask how they were. When people ask me what values matter most to me, I say 'Be Kind'. I’m sure I don’t know the extent of the footprints in my personality that Thomas’s has left on me, but I know my time there gave me an appreciation of wisdom and joy.

I am impressed by the breadth of the curriculum offered at the school. The diverse range of subjects and activities provides a well-rounded foundation, allowing children to explore various interests beyond the standard academic scope.

The vast majority of children either meet or exceed the early learning goals… as a result of a well-planned curriculum and effective system of assessment.

Arriving at Thomas’s in 1988, I never expected the school would shape my life so completely. From rolling down hills in Kensington Gardens to performing in vibrant school musicals, Thomas’s ignited my lifelong passion for English and the Arts. This creative foundation carried me through Godolphin, Trinity College Dublin and into a rewarding 13-year career in the video game industry, including serving as a BAFTA juror. Most importantly, Thomas’s gave me lifelong friendships spanning 35 years. Today, as a proud parent, I love seeing my daughters thrive in that same uniquely kind, happy and energetic environment.
